Lawrence is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1817 from the following county/ies: Hickman/Indian lands/Maury. Lawrence began keeping birth records in 1908, marriage records in 1818, and death records in 1908. It began keeping land records in 1819, probate records in 1829, and court records in 1818.
