Gibson is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1823 from the following county/ies: Chickasaw lands. Gibson began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1824, and death records in 1909. It began keeping land records in 1819, probate records in 1824, and court records in 1824. For more information, contact the county at 1 Court Sq./P.O. Box 228, Trenton 38382-0228.
