Houston is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1871 from the following counties: Dickson/Stewart/Humphreys. Houston began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1871, and death records in 1881. It began keeping land records in 1871, probate records in 1871, and court records in 1871.
