Washington is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1777 from the following county/ies: Act of North Carolina Washington Dist.. Washington began keeping birth records in 1908, marriage records in 1787, and death records in 1908. It began keeping land records in 1778, probate records in 1778, and court records in 1778.
