Overton is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1806 from the following county/ies: Jackson/Indian lands. Overton began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1792, probate records in 1870, and court records in 1815.
