Franklin is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1807 from the following county/ies: Bedford/Warren. Franklin began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1838, and death records in 1881. It began keeping land records in 1807, probate records in 1808, and court records in 1832.
