Hancock is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1844 from the following county/ies: Claiborne/Hawkins. Hancock began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1930, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1879, probate records in 1929, and court records in 1879.
