Hamilton is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1819 from the following county/ies: Cherokee lands. Hamilton began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1857, and death records in 1881. It began keeping land records in 1796, probate records in 1862, and court records in 1860.
