Marion is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1823 from the following county/ies: Fayette/Jefferson. Marion began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1823, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1819, probate records in 1823, and court records in 1823.
