DeKalb is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1837 from the following county/ies: Kane. DeKalb began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1837, and death records in 1878. It began keeping land records in 1838, probate records in 1837, and court records in 1838. For more information, contact the county at 110 E. Sycamore St., Sycamore 60178.
