Clinton is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1824 from the following county/ies: Washington/Fayette/Bond. Clinton began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1825, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1818, probate records in 1825, and court records in 1825.
