Champaign is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1833 from the following county/ies: Vermilion. Champaign began keeping birth records in 1878, marriage records in 1833, and death records in 1878. It began keeping land records in 1833, probate records in 1833, and court records in 1836. For more information, contact the county at 1776 E. Washington, Urbana 61802.
