Piatt is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1841 from the following county/ies: DeWitt/Macon. Piatt began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1841, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1840, probate records in 1843, and court records in 1841. For more information, contact the county at 101 W. Washington St. , P.O. Box 558, Monticello 61856.
