Douglas is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1859 from the following county/ies: Coles. Douglas began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1859, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1830, probate records in 1859, and court records in 1859. For more information, contact the county at 401 S. Center , P.O. Box 467, Tuscola 61953.
