Macoupin is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1829 from the following county/ies: unorganized (Madison) unorganized (Greene). Macoupin began keeping birth records in 1877, marriage records in 1829, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1829, probate records in 1829, and court records in 1829.
