Madison is a county in Illinois. It was formed in 1812 from the following county/ies: St. Clair/Randolph. Madison began keeping birth records in 1858, marriage records in 1813, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1802, probate records in 1813, and court records in 1803.
