St. Joseph is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1829 (1829) from the following county/ies: unorganized *Mackinac/*Iosco/*Cheboygan. St. Joseph began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1832, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1830, probate records in 1832, and court records in 1842.
