Lapeer is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1822 (1835) from the following county/ies: Oakland/St. Clair/unorganized. Lapeer began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1831, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1835, probate records in 1838, and court records in 1835.
