Cheboygan is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1840 (1853 from the following county/ies: Mackinac *Grand Traverse. Cheboygan began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1854, probate records in 1854, and court records in 1854.
