Shiawassee is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1822 (1837) from the following county/ies: Oakland/St. Clair/unorganized *Genesee. Shiawassee began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1836, probate records in 1840, and court records in 1848.
