Benzie is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1863 (1869) from the following county/ies: Leelanau *Grand Traverse. Benzie began keeping birth records in 1868, marriage records in 1869, and death records in 1868. It began keeping land records in 1854, probate records in 1870, and court records in 1869.
