Allegan is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1831 (1835) from the following county/ies: Barry/unorganized. Allegan began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1836, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1835, probate records in 1839, and court records in 1837.
