Otsego is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1840 (1875) ||(as Okkuddo; renamed 1843) from the following county/ies: Mackinac *Cheboygan/*Alpena/*Antrim. Otsego began keeping birth records in 1875, marriage records in 1895, and death records in 1875. It began keeping land records in 1864, probate records in 1876, and court records in 1875.
