Chippewa is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1862 (1869) from the following county/ies: Davis/Pierce *Renville. Chippewa began keeping birth records in 1870, marriage records in 1870, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1870, probate records in 1872, and court records in 1870.
