Jackson is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1857 (1866) from the following county/ies: (abolished, Sioux uprising 1862)Brown *Martin. Jackson began keeping birth records in 1870, marriage records in 1868, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1866, probate records in 1867, and court records in 1871.
