Swift is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1870 (1897) from the following county/ies: Chippewa/*Pope/*Kandiyohi. Swift began keeping birth records in 1871, marriage records in 1871, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1871, probate records in 1873, and court records in 1874.
