Kandiyohi is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1858 (1871) from the following county/ies: Davis/Meeker/Pierce/Renville (disbanded 1866)(see Monongalia). Kandiyohi began keeping birth records in 1870, marriage records in 1880, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1858, probate records in 1867, and court records in 1871.
