Rock is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1857 (1874) from the following county/ies: Brown/*Big Sioux (exchanged name with Pipestone, 1862) *Martin/*Nobles. Rock began keeping birth records in 1870, marriage records in 1872, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1871, probate records in 1873, and court records in 1874.
