Benton is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1849 from the following county/ies: St. Croix/unorganized. Benton began keeping birth records in 1865, marriage records in 1850, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1850, probate records in 1852, and court records in 1850.
