Lyon is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1868 (1870) (1875) from the following county/ies: Redwood (abolished 1873). Lyon began keeping birth records in 1874, marriage records in 1871, and death records in 1874. It began keeping land records in 1870, probate records in 1890, and court records in 1875.
