Preston is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1818 from Monongalia. Preston began keeping birth records in 1868, marriage records in 1869, and death records in 1868. It began keeping land records in 1818, probate records in 1869, and court records in 1881. For more information, contact the county at 101 W. Main St., Kingwood 26537-1121.
