Upshur is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1851 from the following county/ies: Randolph/Lewis/Barbour. Upshur began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1853, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1851, probate records in 1852, and court records in 1851.
