Cowley is a county in Kansas. It was formed in 1867 from the following county/ies: (1885) (as Hunter; renamed Cowley, 1870). Cowley began keeping birth records in 1885'1911, marriage records in 1870, and death records in 1885'1911. It began keeping land records in 1870, probate records in 1870, and court records in 1871.
