Lyon is a county in Kansas. It was formed in 1855 (as Breckenridge,renamed 1862) (1859) from the following county/ies: . Lyon began keeping birth records in 1886'1911, marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1885'1911. It began keeping land records in 1859, probate records in 1859, and court records in 1858.
