Douglas is a county in Kansas. It was formed in 1855 from the following county/ies: original . Douglas began keeping birth records in 1885'1907, marriage records in 1863, and death records in 1885'97. It began keeping land records in 1856, probate records in 1856, and court records in 1863. Some marriage records reconstructed.
