Gray is a county in Kansas. It was formed in 1881 (as Foote; renamed 1887) from the following county/ies: (as Foote; renamed 1887). Gray began keeping birth records in 1890'1926 , marriage records in 1888'1912*, and death records in 1888'1909*. It began keeping land records in 1888, probate records in 1888, and court records in 1887. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 487, Cimarron 67835-0487.
