Clay is a county in Kansas. It was formed in 1866 from the following county/ies: original . Clay began keeping birth records in 1885'1911*, marriage records in 1864, and death records in 1885'1911. It began keeping land records in 1866, probate records in 1868, and court records in 1868. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 98, Clay Center 67432-0098. On the attached map, Clay is located at G2 . *Incomplete. Birth records extant for 1885'1900 and 1906'1911 only.
