Cecil is a county in Maryland. It was formed in 1674 from Baltimore county. The first land deed in Cecil was recorded in 1674. Orphan Court records begin in 1675. For more information, contact the circuit county clerk at 129 East Main St., Elkton 21921. On the attached map, Cecil is located at J2. Many early court records have disappeared.
