Anne Arundel is a county in Maryland. It was formed in 1650 from the following county/ies: original. The first land deed in Anne Arundel was recorded in 1653. Orphan Court records begin in 1777. On the attached map, Anne Arundel is located at G4. The courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1704, with the loss of all but three court record volumes. Deeds before 1699 were lost, but there are five volumes of re-recorded deeds.
