Douglas is a county in Nevada. It was formed in 1861 from the following county/ies: original. Douglas began keeping birth records in 1885, marriage records in 1862, and death records in 1887. It began keeping land records in 1855, probate records in 1887, and court records in 1887. For more information, contact the county at 1594 Esmeralda St./P.O. Box 218 Minden 89423. On the attached map, Douglas is located at E2. In 1859, the county was part of Millard County, Utah, then added to Carson County.
