Carson was a county in Nevada. It was formed in 1854, and abolished in 1861; became part of Washoe, Churchill, Storey, Lyon, Douglas, and Humboldt. As part of Utah Territory, it included Carson City, Genoa, and Virginia City, but it was abolished when Nevada Territory counties were formed.
