About this project
These Michigan State Passenger and Crew Lists are primarily Manifest Cards used to record passenger arrivals and entries through Michigan ports by the U.S. Department of Labor Immigration Service. Since these records cover the period 1902 - 1954, the cards used to document the arrivals vary in the number of fields and the order of fields. Please look over the entire card before you begin data entry. Each image will contain both the front and back of the card. You will only need to key data from the back of the card for one of the form types, the Primary Inspection Memorandum form.
