Q: My Query is about the Business Name, as that shown in the sample is only an address and not a name. Is this what should be keyed and if so I think the title and help should be changed.

A: The image shown is incorrect. Only key a business name. I've sent an email to Anna to see if we can get that image corrected.

Q: If the name blank is left empty on a bond, should I key the first signature as the primary name record?

Q: On several images, the left hand page has a handwritten Oath, then printed Oaths with signatures of different people on the right side. Then the next image is a different handwritten Oath on the left page and the same printed Oaths with the same signatures as the previous right hand page. Then the next image has a different handwritten Oath on the left page and the same printed Oaths with the same signatures as on the previous two right hand pages. Am I supposed to enter each image as shown? If I key the second and third images as duplicate images, I'll lose the oaths on the left hand pages. So...I've been keying the images just as shown. I hope I'm right. Thank you. Virginia.

Q: New question: I downloaded PicPick and I can copy an image. But how do I upload it to this Question and Answer page? Thank you. Virginia.

A: Virginia, on the left side of the wiki there is a toolbox with "upload file". After the file is uploaded, you will have to edit the wiki and key the name of the file 200px. Let me know if this doesn't work.--Wiedwoman 07:16, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Q: Another question: I have an Oath that has as the principal person's name as: Alexander Townsend, but when he signs, he signs: Michael Townsend. Which do I use? Thank you. Virginia.

A: we are to key the most complete name, but in this instance I would key the signature name, Michael Townsend. --Wiedwoman 07:16, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Q: This is not really a question, but a comment. Incredibly interesting. All the names we are keying for government offices are there.

I noticed that the index pages often have the names written more clearly than the licenses do. I don't know if the reviewers see the images in sequential order (us keyers get them non-sequentially) but if I could, I'd go find the index page for a batch, make a copy of the image, and use that as a key for the license pages following it. ~Ianthe
