Westmoreland is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1653 from the following county/ies: Northumberland. Westmoreland began keeping birth records in 1858, marriage records in 1772, and death records in 1857. It began keeping land records in 1653, probate records in 1653, and court records in 1653.
