Wayne is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1842 from Cabell. Wayne began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1843, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1842, probate records in 1865, and court records in 1842. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 248, Wayne 25570-0248.
