Washington is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1813 from the following county/ies: Ste. Genevieve. Washington began keeping birth records in 1883'95, marriage records in 1815, and death records in 1883'1976*. It began keeping land records in 1813, probate records in 1813, and court records in 1819. For more information, contact the county at 102 N. Missouri Potosi 63664. On the attached map, Washington is located at F6. *Records incomplete. Death records extant for 1883'95 and 1974'76 only. Courthouse burned 1907.
