Thurston is a county in Nebraska. It was formed in 1855 (as Blackbird; renamed 1889) from the following county/ies: Burt. Thurston began keeping birth records in 1917, marriage records in 1855, and death records in 1917. It began keeping land records in 1882, probate records in 1895, and court records in 1886.
