Spotsylvania is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1721 from the following county/ies: Essex/King and Queen/King William. Spotsylvania began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1795, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1720, probate records in 1722, and court records in 1724.
