Rowan is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1856 from the following county/ies: Fleming/Morgan. Rowan began keeping birth records in 1856, marriage records in 1880, and death records in 1856. It began keeping land records in 1866, probate records in 1853, and court records in 1880. For more information, contact the county at 627 E. Main St., Morehead 40351-1390.
