Putnam is a county in Ohio. It was formed in 1820 (1834) from the following county/ies: Shelby/Logan *Wood/*Williams. Putnam began keeping birth records in 1857, marriage records in 1834, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1830, probate records in 1835, and court records in 1834.
